Data We Collect

If you create an account, Arcadia Atlas stores your email address, one-way password hash, account identifier, and authentication sessions. If you use My Shows or Goose Points, we also store the shows you mark as attended, show-night check-ins, point balances, and prediction positions associated with your account.

The website and iPhone app also record limited first-party product interactions, such as opening the app, sharing a show or prediction, lighting or sharing a Flock Beacon, creating or logging in to an account, marking or checking in to a show, and using Jam Pulse. A record contains the event name, whether it came from the web or iPhone app, a timestamp, and when relevant a show identifier or page path. These interaction records do not contain an email address, account identifier, raw device identifier, real name, or precise location. We use these product-interaction records for first-party analytics. Separately, recent Jam Pulse records provide current-song crowd notices while participating phones are in the foreground.

How We Use Data

We use this information only to operate your account, sync your show history, provide check-ins and Goose Points, understand which first-party features are useful, secure the service, and maintain aggregate service reliability. We do not sell personal data, combine product interactions with advertising profiles, or use mobile-app data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Device Data and Location

Flock Beacon does not use location. Jam Pulse requests foreground precise location only after you tap Verify at venue. The app sends one fresh reading to the Arcadia Atlas server, which checks whether it is within the current Goose venue boundary and immediately discards latitude and longitude. Coordinates are not stored in the database, logs, analytics, or the show-presence pass, and background location is never used.

A successful check returns a signed, show-specific pass lasting about ten hours. To enforce the per-song cooldown and prevent duplicate pulses, we store a show-specific one-way HMAC hash of a random app-device identifier with the show, current song, pulse intensity, and timestamp. The hash changes between shows, is not linked to an account, and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. The service may also process ordinary network information such as IP address and user agent for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.

While the app is open with a valid venue pass, it may request recent reactions for the current song. The service excludes that phone's own reactions and returns a bounded feed using a harmless alias derived from each other phone's show-specific hash. The alias is generated independently for each show and is not user-entered, account-linked, or a person's real name. No reaction response exposes a raw app-device identifier, device hash, account identifier, real name, or location. The app combines reaction bursts into one gentle screen pulse rather than rapid flashing. If Reduce Motion is enabled, it shows a static badge without luminance or flight animation. Reaction polling stops when the app leaves the foreground and never triggers a location reading or an upstream setlist refresh.

Storage and Sharing

Account data is stored by Arcadia Atlas service providers solely to run the service. We do not share personal data with data brokers or advertising networks. We may disclose information when required by law or needed to protect the service and its users. First-party product-interaction and Jam Pulse records are retained only for operating, protecting, and improving Arcadia Atlas; they are not used to identify fans. Other fans see only a show-local generated alias for a recent reaction, not the underlying identifier or account data.

Delete Your Account

In the iPhone app, open Me and choose Delete account. Deletion permanently removes the account and its associated attendance, check-in, Goose Points, and prediction-position data. You can also request help by emailing tommaciejewski@yahoo.com. Unlinked product-interaction and Jam Pulse records are not associated with an account and therefore are not included in account deletion.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
